at the moment i'm at hartsfield airport in atlanta and its 930 and my flight is at 1230 so get excited for a blog!
i came into town on wednesday to deal with some old roomate shit (which still hasnt been resolved due to an individuals preference to be as dramatic as possible) and to see the famille. my mom broke her wrist falling off a bicycle and had to have surgery on it. shes fine now. other than seeing the family i visited with a few friends, saw a bluegrass concert (the lovell sisters), and jammed out. it was a nice visit.
last week i had to rush off to chicago and new york city for some emergency demonstrations which were executed well. i was supposed to come back thursday to virginia but due to the car breaking down and the airlines not adjusting flight times to my schedule i ended up stranded in the city that night. i was rescued by my lovely friend aman who lives in harlem. he got me from the train, fed me, and then put me to bed. the whole trip was insanely hectic and resulted in a severe sleep deprivation. this ended up making me stay in on the 4th so i could sleep and spend some quality time with the creatures. i go to dc this week and then im home for a week and a half or so before my next tour through the southwest. i feel like there were more interesting things that have happened recently but they are not coming to mind.
my gate is next to one that is going to orlando. there are so many families.
a plane just pulled up that has danica smith (the racecar driver, i think thats her name) on the side and then it says 'air tranica'. thats pretty intense. i hope its the plane to orlando to take all these people away.
